HISTORY AND DEVELOPMENT PROCESS OF
LE VAN TAM PRIMARY SCHOOL

Le Van Tam Primary School was founded in 2007. At first, the school was named “Ward 1 Primary School” which is located at 30, April 30 street, Ward 1. From 2011-2012 up until now, the school has been relocated to a new campus located at 12 Le Thi Rieng street - group 30 - cluster 3 - Ward 1, Cao Lanh City (main point). By 2014-2015, the school has 9 more intensive English classes at the Continuing Education Center.

The school was solidly built. At the main point, there were 30 classrooms, 6 working rooms, 1 stadium, 6 functional rooms for teaching English, Music, Fine Arts and Informatics. It has an adequate number of equipment necessary for teaching and learning. The school yard is lined with dal, planted with lawns and trees, variety of flowers, and has a clean landscape.
There were 64 staff and teachers, 49 of them were women. There are 3 managers, 55 teachers (there are 14 subject teachers), 1 full-time teacher, 1 general teacher in charge of the Ho Chi Minh Youth League team, 6 employees; and 100% of officials and teachers have professional qualifications up to and above standard (Universities and Colleges: 60/62, excluding janitor). Currently, the school has 20 competent teachers at City level, 21 at Provincial level, and 2 at the National level. In 2017, the school won an excellent labor collective award. In 2018, the unit received the emulation flag of the Prime Minister.

At the end of each school year, the school recorded an average of 100% who finished the curriculum; 80% of the students were rewarded for their outstanding academic achievements and good academic achievements. Every year, students from the school attended and win prizes at competitions. Especially in this school year, the school had 136 students who won prizes at city-level contests and 2 provincial prizes. By the end of the year, all 5th graders have completed 100% of primary education.
With the goal of attaching importance to reality, Le Van Tam Primary School's self-assessment has been completed and assessed to reach level 1 in November 2017. This is considered to be a laborious, industrious and hard-working process with the full focus of the self-assessment Council members and all staff, teachers and employees in the school.
